In each class, we will:
Explore a passage from Torah with an awareness for how it resonates with our life
Delve into our inner landscape through a guided exercise
Deepen and integrate our insights through journaling, drawing or painting.
Open to all spiritual seekers - no previous experience in or sacred text or creative expression necessary.

Praise for Torah and Creative Expression:
"Exploring Torah and Creative Expression as a participant in Patrice Spitz's classes is a blessing.
I leave the crowded and harried flatlands, and join the class at Patrice's close-in, light-filled mountain studio. Surrounded by tall pines, we have Torah study, a meditation of guided focusing, and the time, and resources, to respond to our Inner Torah in words or images, or both. Her studio has lots and lots of fun stuff available to explore and play with. I like seeing what happens with collage: scissors, paste and images-that-wink, from her tall stack of magazines. Later, when we share our explorations with each other, gentle support is given and received, and for me, a puzzling inner mystery is illuminated. With fellow participants, I go back down the hill filled with blessings and shalom.
Patrice's classes are synergetic, reflecting her Rabbinic Pastor training and her natural gentle, accepting and perceptive way of being in the world."

"The atmosphere Patrice has created in the studio itself is a big plus, as well as the atmosphere I was guided to create within myself with the focusing practice. Hard to describe in words for me as I think I just needed to experience it. A couple of times I was quite sure of what I thought I would be doing in the way of art that day, only to discover that the focusing practice took me in an entirely different direction. Making contact with that inner longing spilled over into the rest of the week as well and I think may have a lasting effect in going for it!"
